What is spirituality really? Is it your religion? Your practice? Your philosophy? Or none of these things?

It is a connection to your inner world. The knowing that all things have a natural balance and a higher order. A knowing that you as the human is not in charge of your reality entirely. We could call it a surrendering of your will.   Your need to control or think that you create in a solo dance. You do not.

Spiritual– the spirit that surrounds, the ether, the being that is non-physical, the energy of your non physical self and all non-physical others.

Ility– an ability to connect matter to non matter. To interface duality. Physical/non-physical, dark/light etc.

This “ability” to spiritualize your reality is acquired through living many lifetimes in self realization along the way. With or without a practice or religion. Those paths are tools to aid in your spirituality but are not spirituality itself. You are a spiritual being whether you believe in a god or you do not. It just is.

So why do we focus on what makes one spiritual?

Because your ego likes to measure less than or more than. It likes to keep score of whether you are higher than, We say to please throw this notion away. Yes you will notice when one does not appear awakened. This does not mean they are not, or never will be, spiritual. We urge you to see your spiritual self in each face you see. Encourage enlightenment by envisioning your awakened self in each spirit filled face. This is how you can affect those still asleep. Be your spirituality and hold a resonance for others to step into WITH you. This is the divine infinite intelligence way. This was Jesus’s way, Buddha’s way, Krishna’s way. These conscious beings lived their truth and so can you.

Next time you judge someone for not being spiritual, remember that you are judging yourself and placing limits on your power and love.  Create autonomy within yourself and do different. See your brother/sister, then Be what you envision so they may see a new way.
